Our story01

Pioneers arrive before the market does.

1949. Vancouver. Before "international aisle" was a phrase, one company looked across the Pacific and saw not a foreign market — but a future one.

We earned our place by honouring commitments on both sides of the Pacific — to the makers who entrusted their brands to a distant market, and to the grocers who staked their shelves on our word. That double trust remains our defining asset.

  • 05Tripled sales revenue over a decade while helping ten-plus products become established national brands.
A new chapter, the same promise10

Great names don't end.
They evolve.

In 2025, OD International Ltd. was founded to carry the Olympic name forward — not as a traditional distributor, but as a commercial integrator. Six in ten new foreign suppliers fail in Canada within three years — on execution, not product quality.

ODI inverts the model. You keep your goods, your margin and your brand equity; we direct distribution, pricing and channel strategy on your behalf, earning a transparent commission tied directly to your success. Capital-light, scalable, and free of inventory speculation.

You are not betting on a startup. You are partnering with a name that has kept its promises across the Pacific since 1949.

The road ahead11

Three fronts, one discipline.

Private label: owning the shelf

Diamond and Sparkle anchor a growing portfolio in seafood, Asian pantry staples, noodles and high-protein pulses — built through a tri-market lens: Canada, Hong Kong, China.

Two-way trade: Canada to the world

Export channels carrying established Canadian brands into Southeast Asia, beginning with the Philippines — the same integration discipline, applied outbound.

Community Direct: food access

Serving Indigenous, northern and rural communities by removing margin layers — commercial, not charitable, and true to our legacy.

Suppliers: enter Canada with a proven partner.

Keep your brand and your margin. We bring the access, the compliance and the pricing discipline.

Retailers & buyers: list brands that perform.

Twenty-three brands, one vendor of record — from order to shelf, reliably.
